Clayton Snider, age 22, of New Haven, was taken into custody by the Orange County Sheriff's Office in Orlando, Florida on Friday, Oct. 6, according to an arrest affidavit.

The affidavit said deputies responded to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa in reference to an allegation of voyeurism.

Upon arrival, deputies met with the boy and his father before interviewing Snider and finding that he used an iPhone 13 to secretly view the victim, "for his own gratification," while the boy was "privately exposing his body," (using the restroom in a private stall), the affidavit said.

The recording of the child was without his consent, deputies added.

After the boy saw Sinder taking photos over the top of the bathroom stall, who he said was wearing black Sketchers slip-ons, he went back to his family and told his father.

The father then went to the bathroom and found Sinder standing in front of one of the urinals. He was not using the bathroom, but just standing there, deputies said.

There was no one else in the restroom at he confronted Snider, asking if he had indeed taken a picture of "to which he aloofly answered, no," police said.

The father repeated the question several more times. Snider proceeded to exit the restroom, the father followed him outside and alerted Disney employees, who contacted law enforcement.

Police said Snider was confronted by the boy's mother who said he had been deleting information from his phone.

Deputies then arrived and confronted Snider with the allegations. He denied it and allowed deputies to view his phone with their body cameras on.

When nothing could be found, the deputies then asked to view his deleted files and Snider again consented.

While viewing the deleted files deputies found a video that depicted an adolescent Caucasian male sitting on a toilet in a bathroom stall. From the perspective of the video, it was clear that it had been taken from an elevated position, over the divider, deputies said.

The young boy had his shorts down around his ankles and was wearing a blue shirt.

Based upon the discovery of the video, Snider was read his rights and arrested.

Snider, who pleaded not guilty, was later released on a $5,000 bond.
